Dr. Nash Moawad is Associate Professor and Head of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Florida. He graduated from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, Fellowship in Minimaly-invasive Gynecologic Surgery as well as Masters in Clinical Research from Magee-Womens Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Moawad is an expert in State-of-the-art treatment of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, Fibroids, Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis. He is a well known international speaker and author of numerous books, chapters and peer reviewed publications.
He is a member of the board of directors of the AAGL’s Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, SurgeryU, The Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology as well as the Board of the Global Congress on Hysteroscopy. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons.
