  • Registration fee: 80,00 Euro per participant
  • Program as follows:

Course Description:

This masterclass aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the convergence of robotic surgery and hysteroscopy in addressing congenital anomalies of the female genital tract, myomectomy, adenomyomectomy, isthmocele repair and complex uterine surgery. We will delve into the intricacies of these techniques, providing valuable insights and best practices for achieving optimal patient outcomes.

The course is designed to be an expert panel discussion.

Speakers: Profs Vito Cela, Prof Giuseppe Bifulco, Prof Attilio Di Spiezio Sardo and Prof Gaby Moawad.

Discussants: M. Ascione, G. D'Angelo, P. Giampaolino, F. Nardelli

Course Outline:

Part 1: Introduction to Robotic Surgery and Hysteroscopy

- Overview of robotic surgery in gynecology

- Evolution of hysteroscopy techniques

- Advantages and limitations of robotic surgery and hysteroscopy in gynecological procedures

Part 2: Combined robotic and Hysteroscopic surgery in congenital anomalies of the female genital tract

- Diagnostic hysteroscopy for congenital anomalies of the female genital tract

- Advanced hysteroscopic techniques for septate uterus, bicorporate uterus, and vaginal anomalies

- Role of robotic-assisted hysteroscopy in addressing complex anomalies of female genital tract

Part 3: Robotic and hysteroscopic myomectomy

- Patient selection and preoperative evaluation for robotic-hysteroscopic myomectomy

- Surgical techniques for combined robotic-hysteroscopic myomectomy

Part 4: Robotic and hysteroscopic adenomyomectomy

- Patient selection and preoperative evaluation for robotic-hysteroscopic adenomyomectomy

- Surgical techniques for combined robotic-hysteroscopic adenomyomectomy

Part 5: Isthmocele Repair

- Diagnosis and assessment of isthmocele

- Hysteroscopic and robotic approaches to isthmocele repair
